As Vice Chair of the Charlotte NAACP and Director of Engagement at HBCU Pride Nation, he led protests in the midst of the trial/police shootings of Keith Lamont Scott and Jonathan Ferrell-- issuing specific demands to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department and city government.
In 2017, Jeremiah played pivotal roles on the ground in historic progressive victories in Virginia & Alabama via NexGen America and Woke Vote.
During his time at NextGen America as National Training Director he would go on to lead/cultivate 1000+ Young Activists Nationwide on tactics to dismantle systemic oppression through a 30+ Million Dollar Program entitled NextGen Rising.
The program was focused on 426 college campuses and flipped 33 out of 38 Republican held Congressional Districts targeted.
In 2018, he partnered with Blavity, Color of Change, NAFEO, Woke Vote and Black Futures Lab to create the #BlackLivesRising Program, which featured over 80 black youth organizers in 6 states and 13 cities to increase voter participation. The program's $1M dollar efforts assisted with the election of WI Lt. Gov. Mandela Barnes, MI Lt. Gov. Garlin Gilchrist, Rep. Rashid Tlaib, NC Supreme Court Justice Anita Earls & many more.
In 2019, Jeremiah spearheaded the Need to Impeach Campaign and hosted trainings, marches, and congressional member visits to build a grassroots movement of over 10 million Americans to impeach Donald J. Trump.
In 2020, Chapman released the Black Culture Weekly app meant to support Black businesses, artists and activists.
In 2021, Chapman served as Creative Director for the School Meals for All Coalition that led California to become the 1st in the nation to adopt FREE school breakfast/lunch with over $2B in funding to feed California’s 6.2M children.
In 2022, Chapman created Black Culture Academy Uganda as a means of supporting youth in Uganda on their creative endeavors that sent students to teach Sweden to teach African Dance.
In 2023, Jeremiah founded The Afro Vibes & Wine Festival with renowned Ebony Wine & Spirits in Charlotte, NC as a means of advocating for black businesses, artists and activists.
Later that year, Chapman ran digital media operations for the Healthy School Meals for All Campaign via Senate Bill 348 which saw passage in the California Senate, making California the 1st state in the nation to develop
In 2024, he was nominated for the “Solutions Journalism” award by the prestigious LA Press Club for his work as a videographer, photographer and co-producer on the Farm Refresh Series.
